Background
Coming from a wealthy Coruscanti family, Brecor Sturit was raised with the understanding that he belonged to a long political dynasty that it would one day be his responsibility to carry on. However, he always chafed under the pressure placed on him by his parents. He subsequently defied their wishes that he enter the political arena as well, choosing instead to enlist in the Imperial Navy, hoping in this way to be able to serve the Empire on his own terms. He still maintains a relationship with his family, though it is strained by the fact that the path he chose in life, though it may still bring prestige to the family, is not the one they wanted for him. Still, Brecor has acquitted himself quite well in officer's training, and his superiors believe that he will go far even without his family name.
Motivation
Brecor hopes to rise through the ranks of the navy as rapidly as possible. He has spent his entire life admiring heroes of the Clone Wars, studying their most famous battles and dreaming of one day commanding a fleet of his own. He is also strongly committed to serving the Empire, though his upbringing has insulated him from much of its more unpleasant aspects. He has a strong moral compass, and has been raised to believe that he is genuinely helping others through his military service. Lastly, Brecor is a dutiful son, and cares deeply for his many relatives, even though he has disappointed them by choosing to pursue his own dreams instead of theirs.
