Background
Manuia grew up exploring the galaxy on his family's starship. From a young age, he discovered he had a talent for navigation. Under his family's tutelage, he began to learn the explorer's trade. Sadly, not long into his training, their ship was attacked by pirates and his family was completely wiped-out. Manuia managed to survive by hiding in a space that would've been hard to reach even for a full-size person. Unbeknownst to him, his escape was aided by tapping into his burgeoning connection to the Force.
Manuia has continued his family's legacy, exploring planets and discovering new hyperspace lanes. He derives great joy from the act of exploration, almost to the point of obsession.
