Background

VZ-75 (alternatively known as Veezee) was built by a wealthy Skakoan businessman named Rahs Yibor several years before the Galactic Civil War, Veezee was initially a simple hospitality droid that would assist with translation in Yibor's business deals or simply provide him with refreshments, but as Yibor's business empire began to crumble and his own health started to decline, Yibor started to give Veezee more responsibilities, such as the day-to-day running of the business, or even negotiating new deals. Unbeknownst to Yibor, however, Veezee also set out to "negotiate" with former business partners, with the droid gaining access to their homes or hideouts using a veneer of diplomacy, then swindling them for all they were worth, using persuasion or deception to covertly siphon their fortunes. But despite Veezee and his master's best efforts, Yibor's wealth eventually withered away, as did the man himself. On the last occasion Veezee saw his master, the man told him to "go do what you do best, and don't come back until I send for you." Yibor hasn't called him back to this day.

In his travels, Veezee has come to Oogway, and seeing an opportunity for great profit, Veezee has decided to set up shop there, hoping to one day build a business empire to rival his master's.

Motivation

Ambition - Business
Veezee's sole goal on Oogway is to create a business empire, drawing in both criminal and legal elements. He intends to use any means necessary to achieve this ambition.

Obligations

Obligation: Costs of Living
Value: 5
Quality: Modest (750 for upkeep)

Obligation: Criminal
Value: 5
Unfortunately, Veezee's shady dealings with his master's business partners did not come without consequences. Many of them put out a hit on him, or even pursued him themselves. With coming to Oogway, Veezee is hoping none of these foes come calling.

Duty: Criminal
Value: 2

Description

VZ-75 is a pristine and luxurious-looking droid, with his golden bronze finish almost sparkling, complemented by his glowing orange photoreceptors. Being a protocol droid, he stands at approximately 5'6".

Veezee may initially come off as an average protocol droid, with his formal and vaguely polite manner, but looking beneath the surface will reveal a very different droid. In actuality, Veezee is a hardened criminal who won't hesitate to break laws in order to achieve his goals. Additionally, he sees himself as far superior to everyone and everything in the galaxy (excepting his master, of course), and isn't afraid to show it, even if subtly.

Other Notes

XP: This will be more of an outline, since I haven't been keeping track of it (my bad). For initial characteristics, I used XP to put my Presence at 4, my Cunning at 3, and my Intellect at 2 (Dedication raised it to 3). Essentially every skill rank above 1 is after creation (same goes for talents except for Hidden Storage, which due to a cybernetic).

Faction: Criminal

Quirks: Is seemingly incapable of being rude, as even when he is coercing or attacking someone, he still maintains a calm, amicable demeanor. This of course, doesn't mean he isn't a complete bastard at times.

Basically, the elevator pitch for this character is C-3P0 meets Gus Fring from Breaking Bad.
