Name Rank Book & Page Description
Gearhead 1 EotE Core Rulebook Page 136 Remove ■ per rank of Gearhead from all Mechanics checks. In addition, the credit cost to add mods to attachments decreases by 50%. This does not increase with multiple ranks of Gearhead.
Redundant Systems 1 EotE Pg. 141 With an Easy Mechanics check, the character may harvest components from a functioning device to repair a broken one, without breaking the functioning device. This allows the character to repair a broken device without having required spare parts, raw materials, or repair kits (the initial check does not suffer penalties for lacking repair kits, either). This only works, however, if the functioning device is at least the same size and technological level as the device being repaired (it is impossible to repair a starship with a blaster pistol, or a lightsaber with parts from a water wheel)
Solid Repairs 1 EotE Pg. 143 The character repairs + 1 hull trauma per rank of Solid Repairs whenever he repairs a starship or vehicle.

Background

R5-J3T or "Jet," as he prefers to be called, is an R5 astromech droid that was salvaged and rebuilt from a scrapyard on Tatooine to do one thing: win races. Jet loves going fast more than anything else, almost as much as he loves working on things to make them go faster. From speeders to starships, Jet is more than happy to fly anything to get to whatever becomes his finish line.

Motivation

Ambition - Freedom:

Jet wants to be free of burdens so he can live his best life without worry. He wants to go fast and nothing more.

Obligations

Bounty - 10
Debt - 5

Description

Other Notes

R5-J3T didn't like being forced to race for bookies who'd have him scrapped as soon as he lost a race, so in his last race, he stole the pod racer to escape from the track. After a high-speed chase, Jet managed to lose his pursuers and was able to reach a far city, where he was able to negotiate a small job as a delivery driver for one of the shops. After some time, his former owners caught onto his trail and destroyed the shop he worked at, forcing him to go on the run again, stealing rides and outrunning his "competitors" (bounty hunters) in every "race"(chase with lethal consequences).
