Background

Born on Lantillies, Anton Grankin was no stranger to explosives: his parents were responsible for the construction - and subsequent demolition - of ships and shipyards. They would bring young Anton on many of their sites, hoping that he would take over for them.

But the Clone Wars happened, with young Anton serving the Republic. His experiences proved him well and he liked the idea of being in the Army, even after it had reformed into the Imperial Army.

After his tour had passed on, Anton decided to teach new combat engineers in Imperial Academies, mostly at Carida.

Many went under his tutelage, but one was special: Susie Irving. Talented and eager to learn, she quickly grasped Anton's teachings much faster than the others and was well on her way to become as good, if not better than him. As Anton prepared to go back into civilian life, it seemed as though the future would be left in good hands.

But fate had other plans. Irving, as well as some other cadets of her class, would desert the Imperial Army for the Rebel Alliance, and soon, Anton would see his handiwork kill many of his fellow brothers-in-arms in systematic explosions across the galaxy.

Guilt-ridden, he left teaching and retired from of the galaxy at large...until an Imperial unit came to his doorstop and a certain person offered him a chance to stop his protégé once and for all.

Motivation

Redemption: He trained Irving and other cadets. While most of the cadets have been apprehended or have been taken care of, Irving still remains at large. Once more into the breach, Anton, and stop your greatest student from causing more havoc.

Duties

Munitions 0: His experience in explosives should help the Imperial effort to provide peace and stability to the galaxy by stopping Rebel bombs cold and maybe giving them a taste of their own medicine.

Initially had 4 Agility and 3 Intellect, as well as 2 ranks in Ranged (Heavy) and Gunnery, but lowered a lot of his combat ability due to not being quite as experienced as he was with blasters. Still probably spent his time tinkering and whatnot.
