Background

A-77 is an Alpha-Class ARC Trooper, born and bred to be the best at what he does. He spends his time training at the range or studying AARs, this keeps him sharp. The sharper he is, the more use he is to the Republic and his brothers. He wholeheartedly believes that his purpose for existing is to preserve the republic at all costs. His job as a Commander is to instill this in his troops, if they share his drive to succeed then they will be able to surmount any obstacles.

He earned his name "Reaver" by performing exceptionally well in the Unconventional Warfare part of ARC training, he snuck into an enemy field camp and stole a baradium charge from them which he then used to ambush their supply trucks the next day at sunrise. He scavenged what little equipment survived the ambush and armed local insurgents to assist him in his assault against the enemy’s main base, the instructors terminated the simulation early because it was not designed for such a devastating attack to succeed so easily.

He’s served on Jabiim with RC-5710 “Chaos” and Republic Intelligence as part of a Direct Action/Wetwork team. Recently moved back to 7th Systems Army’s primary fleet following the successful takedown of an enemy officer known for his prowess in defensive warfare. Had they not taken down that man, it is unlikely they’d have ever gained ground in the sector.

Motivation

Strategic Impact: Reaver was trained to ruthlessly exploit enemy weaknesses. Strike the enemy where it hurts so that the next major operation is easier for his brothers in the general infantry. Killing an enemy commander, destroying supply shipments, recovering vital intelligence, all of these things... and many more, can change the strategic picture and allow the men to win the war more easily. He seeks a strategic victory over a tactical one whenever possible.

Duties

Covert Operations: ARC teams are sent on a variety of sensitive assignments: ranging from special reconnaissance and surveillance, to covert sabotage, and targeted killings. With proper application of specialized skills and gear, all of these things can be achieved whilst maintaining a low profile and with minimum risk to allied forces.
