Background

Sebrungo's family fled Malastare after the Republic intervened in the conflict between the Dug and the Gran. The family unit included all of Sebrungo's extended and immediate family. As luck would have it, as soon as the Republic began their "peacekeeping" mission on Malastare, several large transports landed with no particular allegiance markings to either the Separatists or the Republic. Numerous Dug boarded the transports with promises that they would be taken to a more hospitable planet without the bastardly Gran or Republic trying to take away their lands. That was not to be the case. The transports were owned by a criminal cartel secretly working for a group of Zygerrian slavers. Sebrungo's family was brought on board and shown to their quarters only to realize quickly that the door locks were on the outside of the bunk and that the amenities were scarce at best. Realizing they had been hoodwinked, Sebrungo and his family fought back.

The revolt took place in Hyperspace and communication to the other transports was quickly shut down. Sebrungo's father instructed Seb to stowaway in ventilation ducts near the engineering section. Seb did as was instructed and noticed that the engine room had been left unprotected as the Zygerrian's were all midship attempting to quell the uprising. Seb saw an opportunity and began sabotaging the engines. With fate on his side, he managed to rig the Hypedrive to explode soon after dropping from Hyperspace by preventing the coolants from reaching the actual drive. Knowing this would spell doom for his family, he then was able to slice into a computer terminal and broadcast a ship-wide message instructing all Dug to immediately board and launch all escape pods. Knowing the Zygerrians wouldn't understand the message, he decided to create additional confusion by cutting life support power and relative grav to the ship. Seb knew his people were strong enough and could use their unique physiology to carry themselves along the "roof" of the transport to the escape pods which still had remaining life support and power. Seb then made his own way to the pods via the ventilation ducts just as the ship dropped from Hyperspace. He boarded one of the few remaining escape pods and found himself (and 30+ other Dugs) hurdling towards his new home...Nar Shaada.

Knowing he would be wanted by the Zygerrians (and whoever their true masters were), Seb went into hiding. He thought it best that his family saw him for the true hero he was and, by not being seen, he would have been thought dead. Once planetside, Seb took up oddjobs at local mechanic shops where he would soup up racers and speeders for competition. Missing his sense of family, he started hanging around a group of ne'er-do-wells...

Motivation

Conflict - Revenge (against the Zygerrian slavers)

Obligations

Notoriety - +2,500 credits. He has to keep a low profile to avoid being seen by his family. It's been years since they landed and it's safe to assume that many went on without him. He's also thought to be dead by the Zygerrians and his own family.
