Changeling ND p.22 As an action, a Clawdite may suffer 3 strain and make an Average (♢♢) Resilience check. If the Clawdite succeeds, he changes his appearance to match that of a silhouette 1 character whom he has observed before. An observing character must make opposed Perception vs Deception check to detect that something is amiss with the impersonated character‘s likeness, mannerisms, or behavior. As always, the GM can add □ or ■ for situational effects that might affect the check, such as ■ if the Clawdite‘s garb does not match expectations or □ if the Clawdite has studied the impersonated individual’s mannerisms closely.
Cunning Persona C&M p.30 The character may suffer 2 strain to make a Charm check with Cunning instead of Presence.

Background

Though born in the back alleys of the Mid Rim world of Zolan as Gozin Osta, he has gone by his street nickname Ghost for so long that the previous moniker is but a distant memory. There are many other things that Ghost would keep as a distant memory...the struggle to survive on the arid, irradiated wastelands of Zolan, the constant strife as the Zolanders and his people, the Clawdites, battled for supremacy, the sense of hopelessness as a young child, bereft of family, left on the streets without a purpose but to live to see another day.

These days, however, purpose is one thing Ghost is not without. After a fateful encounter with the smuggler, Xiver Talon, Ghost managed to stow himself away on the smuggler’s ship and freed himself from the shackles of his worldly prison. Though eventually caught by Talon’s crew, they were quick to surmise that Ghost’s innate talents would be more than welcome in their operations.

From Chopper, the ship’s tech, Ghost discovered his knack for breaking into things whether it be hardware or software. Xiver, meanwhile, harnessed the Clawdite’s inherent cunning by crafting scenarios where Ghost was dropped off into cities without supplies and forced to survive by glibness of tongue. Through the efforts of his crew, Ghost was forged into a finely-honed tool of espionage.

Unfortunately for the crew, Ghost’s ambitions far exceeded the small smuggling and theft operation of Talon’s crew. Ghost longed for greater risks for greater rewards. Leaving on amicable terms, Ghost left the smuggling crew to strike out on his own as an independent contractor.

Over the next several years, Ghost began a corporate espionage spree acquiring secrets from numerous commercial industries across the galaxy reveling in his ability and growing reputation as an information broker. When his ambitions could not be satiated, Ghost looked to military secrets to feed his desire for challenge even going so far as stealing from the Empire.

When fate decreed that Ghost would unintentionally steal the secrets of a new Imperial weapon, the bonds of friendship were tested and broke. When the Empire posted the exorbitant reward for information on the Ghost, it was the Talon’s crew that came to collect, revealing everything they knew of their former shipmate. It was only by luck and Ghost’s skill as a changeling that he managed to escape and find himself in the Outer Rim on the run...

Motivation

Retrieval: Tradecraft often involves penetrating enemy security systems to gain access to secrets, and Ghost finds this the grandest game of all. Only when battling opposite numbers and stealing their secrets does Ghost come alive.

Duties

Obligation - High Risk (10): Ghost just can’t help it; he has to take the most dangerous jobs and play for the highest stakes. He is a victim of his own pride, and his ego often lands him in trouble. Ghost has something to prove and, when challenged, he cannot help but take the opportunity to display his bravery, even if this puts himself and his party in harm's way.
