Background
Tep no longer remembers much about who they were before they joined the Rebellion. Even the name "Tep" is just one in a long line of fabricated identities. Tep was born to a Clawdite who was away from Zolan when the New Order was established and so managed to escape the Imperial blockade of their homeworld. Tep grew up hiding their species to avoid being conscripted by Imperial Intelligence. They awakened to their Force sensitivity fairly young, but treated those powers with the same caution as their shapeshifting. Shortly before the Battle of Yavin, Tep made contact with a Rebel recruiter and enlisted. Tep hid their Force Sensitivity and shapeshifting from the Rebellion at first, but getting flagged as a SpecForce candidate made that untenable. An accommodation had to be made.
As a Force Sensitive soldier in the Rebellion, Tep was always at risk of discovery by Inquisitors following up on reports of strangely capable Rebels. Luckily, the ability to shapeshift allowed for effective ways of avoiding detection. Periodically, Tep would be shuffled between identities, Alliance Intelligence using fabricated identities to allow them to "transfer" between units and shed a compromised identity in the process. This process was repeated over several tours of duty, such that there many not be many, if any, individuals apart from Tep who have access to the full scope of their service.
Now the Galactic Civil War is entering a new stage. With Emperor Palpatine and Darth Vader dead, the Inquisitorius no longer seems so unassailable. Tep was engaged in developing a plan of action for luring out Inquisitors in order to neutralize them, using themself as the bait, when they had their vision. What Tep saw in the Force convinced them to abandon their plans and muster out of the Alliance military in order to follow the Force's will.
Motivation
Desire: Knowledge. Tep wants to find out who they even are now, without the revolving door of different guises or the structure of military life.
Fear: Inquisitorius. Tep's life has been taken up with running and hiding from the Inquistors. Even after Endor, Tep is not sure they can face an Inquisitor and live.
Strength: Courageous. Tep has fought against the Empire for roughly five years; they are not afraid of confrontation or a fight.
Flaw: Inflexible. Tep is very used to fighting wars and does not have a well-defined identity outside of that; they are quick to violence, and militaristic thinking appeals to them.
Morality
Morality: 50
Strength: Consistency
Having to move from identity to identity, each needing to be distinctive enough to avoid anyone connecting the dots, had a destabilizing effect on Tep's personality and identity. They developed a set of innocuous rituals in order to hold on to some sense of self. These rituals comfort Tep, and serve as a tenuous link to their reasons for enlisting in the first place.
Weakness: Obstinance
Tep has spent years as a war fighter, and has great difficulty seeing the Galaxy in any other terms. While they do not glory in conflict or violence—"quiet professionalism" has always been their byword—that is still their baseline method of thought: Objectives are to be designated and seized, resources marshaled, and enemies must have their ability to fight destroyed.
Description
Tep's current guise is that of a tall, blue-skinned Duros woman somewhere in her mid-20's. None of their personal effects from before their service remain, so they dress in variations of their PT uniform, with the addition of a bomber jacket that is actually a Catch Vest. To help sell the guise, Tep has been issued the following "personal items:" A wrist chrono (alarm and stopwatch features included), a holo that appears to depict Tep with another Duros soldier, and a SpecForce ID card indicating rank (Corporal) and security clearance (oddly high for a Corporal) only.
In their natural form, Tep has greenish-yellow skin and blue irises.
