Background

Dr. Raina Spelos was born in Tarmask 24 years ago. Raised in wealth and privilege, a brilliant product of the Imperial-Corporate Gizerian Joint School system, she was a stellar student for most of her youth. She went on to study at the famous private Victoria University, home to many VIPs in the Lantillies Sector. Her thesis, "X-ray diffraction analysis of two-phase simili-austenitization of neuranium-pyronium alloys, or Can metal stop the unstoppable?", won her two awards in addition to a PhD. She now teaches Crystallography at the Public University of Gizer, in Lentic, and regularly gives conferences all over the sector.

That would be fine and dandy, if it didn't rely on one big lie : Dr. Raina Spelos is the cover identity of Agent Coco Gizerys, of the Rebel Alliance. Also from Tarmask, on Gizer, her name is a sign of her impoverished background : Gizerys, the name given to all former slaves on the planet several centuries ago. Her parents were part of the first resistance group on Gizer, who went on to be known as the Gizer 1st. As they died at the hands of the Empire, Coco was given a cover identity and a place in a good school, to protect her from harm. Instead, Coco devoted herself to her studies, with the intention to join those that her parents fought with. She integrated the Rebel Alliance as a sleeper agent, feeding intel on technological advances made by the Empire or acquired by them.

She was recently made an active SpecOps asset, to fulfill missions on Gizer and elsewhere.

Motivation

***Motivation : Rebuilding Gizer***
Coco was born and raised on Gizer, and even carries the planet's name in her patronym. She knows the people and locations, as well as the destruction and trauma caused by the Imperial attack. The subsequent Fear Gas release has steeled her resolve in the fight against them.

Her goal is now to help however she can Gizer to get back on its feet, whether it is the destroyed Lentic, the damaged Tarmask or simply the disorganized government of the planet.

As a sleeper agent, the core of Coco's work in the Alliance has been to feed information back to HQ. Sometimes interesting, crucial once in a while, mundane the rest of the time, information is still a weapon, and the sharpest one at that.

Description

Coco is a rather short (1m60) young woman. Brown-haired, she has a tiny nose and almond-shaped brown eyes. She is rather attractive, but works hard to be recognized beyond that.

She's extremely dedicated to keeping her cover story up, and it is almost more her real identity than the real one is. Despite that, she bears a strong hatred for the Empire, and is willing to sacrifice whatever she has to the cause.

As Dr. Spelos, she's rather nerdy and sarcastic, typically using her Voice Emulator to have a higher pitched voice than she normally has. When not in persona, she's typically more somber, and even more sarcastic than before.
