Teigen was born of one of the most powerful prides on Saki, renowned for the prowess of their hunters and the honor they maintained. Unfortunately for Teigen, however, his kin would not acknowledge him, for he was one of the Palers - those Sakiyan born albino or of lighter skin. Though beautiful in its frost white color and pearlescent veneer, the skin marked him as an anomaly and the pride saw this as impurity of blood and a sign of weakness.

Though ostracized and kept apart from the honor rituals of the pride, Teigen was trained in secret by his father who did not agree with the ways of the kin. He believed that they had fallen victim to vanity and hubris and only sought to maintain dominance by any means necessary. His father hoped to instill in his son the fortitude and strength to survive alone without the pride. But this would not satisfy Teigen. He would excel. He would surpass. He would make known to his pride, to his brethren, and to the galaxy, that the greatest hunter to have ever lived is The Paler.

Finish the Job: It is a rare bounty hunter who keeps pursuing prey even when it becomes clear that the hunt is not economically viable. Teigen is one of the rare exceptions: his word is irrevocable and once he has taken a contract, he pursues it at all costs. While a job might be put on hiatus, once the hunt begins, he can never abandon or forget it - perhaps even if the client rescinds the bounty!

Obligation - Keeper of the Faith: Much to many other freelancers' amusement, Teigen has sworn to faithfully uphold both the spirit and the letter of his code of honor. He believes very strongly in these edicts and adheres to them with an almost religious fervor. He never knowingly breaks any of the rules laid down in the code, and may turn on colleagues who do so.

Personal Duty - Bounty & Wetworks (0): Teigen knows that sometimes questionable, if not downright immoral, acts Must be committed in the name of the greater good. The quiet death of a single key individual, after all, can save many lives or keep important secrets buried for good. Teigen is willing to do the unthinkable for the cause, and eliminate or assassinate critical targets to prevent or undo a greater evil.

His smooth and pearlescent skin is frost white - a color that marks him as an albino and outcast among his brethren.
