Background
Asmodee was one of the Iron Knights to fight in the Arkanian Revolution in 50 BBY, but after the backlash from the Jedi Order, Asmodee decided he didn't want to go into exile with the rest of the Iron Knight's pseudo Jedi Order. He left to begin exploring the galaxy. He mostly stuck around the less republic affiliated planets since he knew he wasn't appreciated by the Jedi Order, and he moved to roam Separatist space when the war broke out to explore new areas without too much fear of confrontation.
Eventually, when the Empire rose up, he heard talks of the Jedi being exterminated, and he learned of all ambassadors of the Shard race being murdered on Coruscant, so he began living his life in extreme hiding, living in constant fear. He kept away from any who would question his appearance, using his force abilities to keep people from asking too many questions.
Eventually at around 0 BBY, he came across a Merchant and his child which seemed to be down on his luck, prompting him to join them as a caretaker/servant with the caveat that they never mess with his memory, nor open his chassis for any reason.
