Background

Her parents were new mandalorians who were a larger influence on her life than a Jedi should have. They were political advocates on Mandalore who were raided by deathwatch on a visit, forcing her to flee into the lower levels of the city, unsure of who survived.

Eventually her master, a jedi sentinel, tracked her down, after determining that her parents were taken to be sold to a nearby hutt. Despite her reservations, Rana eventually convinced her to attempt a rescue mission. During this mission, Rana was disarmed, and her master died attempting to protect her from blaster fire. Rana took her blade and killed the rest of the guards before freeing her parents and the other slaves in the processing facility.

The stigma of what happened on that facility has since prevented anyone from choosing her as an apprentice. However, with the slaughter on Geonosis, she's been given the rank of commander and been sent out to lead troops to their deaths. Rana Kir has been reluctant to fulfill this duty, given their prior issues with anger, and has since taken to long meditations and readings on violence.

Motivation

De-escalate- Padawan Kir seeks to control the violence both within and around them. They will attempt to always find a peaceful, or at minimum less violent solution to problems.

Duty- Dilemma- Padawan Kir seeks to present her opponents with dilemmas, be they moral, tactical, or strategic
