"Levi" Lævateinn ID:10-T is an aggressively friendly cobbled-together droid under the service of his creator, Maas Morlan ( http://swsheets.com/c/vkcb448ct-maas-morlan ). The third successfully functioning Lævateinn model, and the first to be able to be both structurally sound and devoid of system-crashing bugs and errors, Levi's overactive enthusiasm for the world is a by-product of Maas's attempt to prevent the droid from self-destruction as was displayed in his predecessor ID: 10-P. Levi also has an unfortunate misunderstanding about biology that leads him to use lethal means of "extracting the processing unit" from those unfortunate enough to be on his master's bad side. Any attempts to convince him otherwise so far has met with total miscomprehension on the droid's side. Such is not uncommon, however, and despite his intellectual shortcomings, he is a useful enforcer kept on personal retainer for his creator. Attempts to create newer variations in the Lævateinn line have been stopped after Levi challenged the latest iteration to a friendly arm wrestling competition in which the newer model's chassis was suitable only for salvage or scrap.
Motivation: Expertise (Melee)
There are very few things Levi decides for himself. Where he goes, what missions he goes on, who accompanies him, these are all decided for him by Maas and the Rebellion. There is, however, one thing that he has decided- His hands would be useful wherever he was put. He was told early on in his existence that even in the most dangerous or dire situation, what happened was entirely in his hands. Perhaps a more refined mind would understand that there was more to the metaphor than skill with arms, but such an idea failed to occur to Levi. To this end, he tirelessly works to improve himself, to lift just a bit more than he was able to yesterday, to be just a little faster at his tasks than the last time they were given to him, and to take just one more hit than last mission so his friends don't have to. His hands are the only thing he controls, and he won't be complacent while there is still room for him to improve.
The world is a simple place. There are those who are friends, and those who are not-friends. Those who are friends need help, regardless of whether or not Levi understands what they're doing or why. As such, Levi is devoted to helping his friends fulfill their Duties by providing whatever assistance they need. Although he may not be as richly rewarded as others pursuing their duties, Levi has more opportunities than he can count to fulfill his personal duty right at hand.
