Crash survival kit (5) - Popular among pilot and vehicle crews, crash survival kits are a necessary precaution for those who regularly travel through inhospitable areas. Small ships such as starfighters, gunboats, small freighters, and even escape pods will have one survival kit for each crew member, while ships with larger crews have kits designed to meet the emergency survival needs of a set number of individuals. The Acklay was a gift from one of the Scholars contacts in another Rebel cell. It is a heavily modified YT-2000 Light Freighter, with military grade weaponry, shielding as well as the latest in electronic countermeasures. It has very quickly built a reputation within the Jagomir Rebel cell as an outstanding ship that can more than hold it's own in a fight.

Although externally the ship looks like any stock YT-2000, inside it is crammed with completely customized components, from the engines to the flight controls. It was been gutted and geared for the fight against the Empire. No one knows who exactly built the Acklay but to cram all of the tech it has into a superbly functional package is a true feat of engineering. None of the custom parts can be identified, however there is a "V" engraved into the maintenance control panel. All of these customizations however are highly illegal, and only by going inside the Acklay and inspecting it in detail would one learn of it's true capabilities.
