Vilana has always been a caring individual. While being raised in the temple, she did not crave adventure or excitement like some of the other padawans. Instead, she focused more on helping others through knowledge and healing. While she struggled with lightsaber practice and even the ability to make the smallest thing move, she had a natural knack for healing. This truly appeared during an accident where a padawan was injured during lightsaber training, and she rushed in before anyone else could arrive, using the force to stabilize the young one until more expert healers could arrive. This skill was seen as a boon for the Clone Wars where she could help keep clones alive through her healing powers and her natural affinity for the medical arts.

However, rather than have her on a medical station or serve in the temple, she was chosen as part of a relief effort for a planet in the Mid Rim that had suffered in the war, and recently taken from the Separatists. The task force she was assigned to would act as a relief effort, giving out food, medical supplies, helping with rebuilding, and other non-combat related duties, which would be a good opening step to the wider war.

However, it was a carefully laid trap. The Separatists had faked a retreat, and when the relief fleet arrived to rendezvous with the remaining forces, they were hit with an overwhelming ambush. Her master, who she had barely gotten to know, managed to get Vilana to an escape pod with a small group of clones, but was unable to reach the pod herself before the pod was launched. Her escape pod managed to reach the surface, where she would spend the next three months with a small group of clones to survive and hide from the Separatists.

Without knowing whether anyone else from the fleet survived, she began bonding and forming an unhealthy attachment to the clone trooper Bulwark. A strong soldier, he took a liking to the young twi’lek, and made it his personal goal to keep her safe, even giving her a D-17 hand blaster when it was discovered her saber was damaged during the escape. While her combat skills were extremely lackluster, her healing and hopeful spirit kept the clones in good spirits until they were finally rescued by reinforcements.

The clones and young padawan have recently returned to Coruscant where she reconstructed a smaller lightsaber, and wonders where the future will take her since her master was reportedly captured by the Separatists. She also can’t help but question the feelings that she has developed for Bulwark, and hopes to see him again.
