She and her younger brother Silas, were orphaned at a very young age. They group up as slaves on Tattoonie due to a debt her mother and father had yet to settle before they died. They were eventually sold to Trandoshans, owners of a mining colony. A few years after though, a fight between pirate and the Trandoshan allowed her the opportunity to sneak onto a ship and escape with her brother.

Through adolescence she cared for them both by working jobs for minor criminal organizations as a spy and a runner in the outer rim learning the tenets of survival in the galaxy’s underworld. Her brother would often try to convince her to leave and find other work.

Unfortunately, while traveling between systems, a pirate attack killed her brother, and much of the crew.

She continued to work with different organizations in the underworld. The guilt of losing her brother weighed in her and she left that life behind. Looking to redeem herself, she joined the rebellion believing it to be something her brother would have wanted.
