Background
After the battle of Ryloth, Rhys witnessed the vital role the GAR played in bringing peace and freedom to his home planet. After the conflict with the Separatists was resolved, he felt it would be more productive for him to continue to help the Republic free and defend the worlds under their protection, and so sought to enlist. As non-clone troops were rare, he was introduced to the Auxiliary Corps, and went on to give his all in supporting the peace and well being of all the republic. He began teaching himself to shoot during the CIS occupation, and spent countless days picking off stray battle droid patrols one by one until he could eliminate a few dozen without missing a shot. At the end of the occupation, there were countless CIS weapons left behind; the spoils of war. He chose the best rifle he could find, and spent the next year training with it and installing modifications to ease it's use, as the rifle was a bit oversized for him, built for a larger creature. He has settled in comfortably with it, however, and it has been with him through his entire GAR career.
Motivation

After the hard fought battle for the freedom of his home planet, he was incensed to defend the galaxy from the oncoming separatist threat.
Rhys is a firm believer that the leaders of armies should be high-priority targets; the sooner you disrupt the army from the back, the easier they will be destroyed from a frontal assault. Taking out high-priority targets and recovering high-priority assets are his specialties.
On a more personal level, he seeks freedom for Twi'lek slaves across the galaxy. The legacy of his people selling their young into slavery when the greater universe reached their primitive world has had cultural repercussions, and he wants to work to undo this ripple effect as much as any one person can.

DUTY: Sabotage - The largest and most powerful military force in the history of the galaxy is also the most vulnerable to acts of destruction and asset denial. The character is focused on disrupting Separatist operations in any way possible, whether it's the manufacture of weapons, troop movements, supply shipments, banking systems, or any other key operation, in order to make the CIS act more slowly and less capably. Truly showy acts of destruction also work to erode a population's will to support the Federation, or so the PC often believes.
Description
Rhys is a grey-blue Twi'lek male, standing at 5'10". His skin has a marbled pattern of slightly darker blue pigment, which frames his face and covers his lekku and body, leaving the extremities of his arms and legs slightly darker than the skin on his face. He has two lekku which reach about waist length which he wears on his back, and can often be found speaking in Ryllian sign language as he talks aloud, mirroring his words subconsciously. He has sharp yellow eyes, trained to spot any small movement after living for years in his home desert planet. He wears a grey jumpsuit similar to those given to mechanics with armor inserts and efficient storage built in, along with an extensive compartmentalized backpack. The jumpsuit is usually left open in the front, or sometimes discarded above the waist, revealing a white tank top and his republic dog tags.
