Personal Gear

Medical Backpack- Encumbrance 2- Allows characters to use the Medicine skill to heal others without penalty. Grants ⬛ to all Medicine checks made using Medical Backpack and decreases the difficulty of any Medicine checks to heal CRITICAL Injuries by 1 to a minimum of Easy (d).

Cerebral Stabilizer- Encumbrance 3- Apply to a patient within one round of suffering a critical injury, may be applied to a character suffering from a "Bleeding Out" or "The End is Nigh" critical injury or even a character who has died during the current round. Applying the device requires an Average (dd) Medicine check. Once applied the character is stabilized, if he died he is brought back to life and counts as suffering a gruesome injury (and all its effects) otherwise the critical injury effects are cancelled, though he suffers from the injury himself.

Stimpacks- x15-Requires one manoeuvre to use on self or other, Immediately heals 5 wounds, a second stimpack heals 4 wounds, third 3 wounds and so on, six stimpacks in a single day has no effect.

Antidote Set- Encum 1- When used reduce the difficulty of any check to resist a poison by two (to a minimum of Easy (d)), if character does not know what poison was used he/she must make a Hard (ddd) Knowledge (Underworld) check to make a educated guess on the poison to benefit from this item.

Military Belt Pouch x5- Can hold two items that have encumbrance 0 and user can draw these items as an incidental.

Load-Bearing Gear-increases the wearers encumbrance threshold by 3.

Surveyor's Bag- Increases the wearers encumbrance threshold by 2.

Utility Belt- increases the wearers encumbrance threshold by 1.

Background

CT-4403 was apart of a medical convoy to the outer rim when the convoy was ambushed and forced to make emergency landings, when tending the wounded he learned that the supplies that they were carrying had been destroyed in the fighting and all the others on the ship had run out. Having no idea how long reinforcements were to arrive he employed what archaic medical knowledge that he learned in his free time with whatever could be found on the wreck of the ship and the surrounding area. CT-4403 earned the name "stitches" for this feat when he patched up the captain of the ship who had a long gash on his leg that would have killed him. CT-4403 and the crew were later picked up by a patrol of the 7th Army that responded to their distress beacon and added what few remaining troops to their ranks.
