How did you discover your force sensitivity?
Gavin always had a strange sense about the people around him. He was not
sure he was force sensative until his curiosity led him to seek out the NJO.

Describe a moment where you fell prey to your moral weakness or experienced a tragedy/horror that still haunts you.
Gavin grew up on Dantooine and when he was younger became obsessed with
a nearby cave system. He just knew there was treasure hidden inside.
Despite warnings to stay away, he talked two of his friends, Jory and Marka,
into joining him in exploring the caves. Instead of treasure, they found a nest
of Kinrath. Before they could escape, Marka was seriously injured, losing his
left arm. Marka's parents could not afford expensive cybernetics, and their
friendship has never recovered.

How did you come to join the NJO?
It was not until he heard about the Jedi Order rebuilding that he even
considered that might be the cause of his strange ability. His curiosity getting
the better of him, he spent the savings that was intended to go towards his
own mechanic shop to pay his way to Yavin 4 in hopes of joining up, or at least
working in the shop. They have to have a mechanic shop at that
temple...right?

Name one NPC your character has a strong connection with. This could be a family member, a friend, a work contact, or a bitter rival.
Lyra Hall - Female Human. Gavin's first mentor was an older woman who let
him help her around her mechanic shop. She taught him to repair most of the
gear and speeders used in the rural villages near his home. Eventually she
gave him a job so he could save up for his own shop.

[Optional] Describe a pivotal moment in your life where you demonstrated your moral strength despite adversity.
While working in Lyra's shop, Gavin was sent to repair a mysteriously
damaged communications tower. The dish was found torn from the top of the
tower and flung far from the base. The wealthy landowner that placed the call
didn't really care how it happened and was angry when Gavin went
looking for the cause instead of starting repairs. After a few hours searching,
Gavin located a crashed airspeeder, with the pilot trapped inside and
immediately called for help. The pilot survived and the feeling Gavin got from
the experience played a large part in his decision to try to join the Jedi.

Gavin is motivated by his belief in the Jedi and his desire to help others.
