Background
The Fugitive - R3-DR is running from an unknown threat. He's had his memory wiped so many times that now it's more of a feeling than a tangible remembrance. Created on the outer rim jungle planet Cholganna, R3-DR was created to assist the scientific outpost in a medical capacity. The outpost, while created to genuinely advance scientific knowledge, was eventually taken over by the Crymorah Syndicate. The Syndicate was initially hired to protect the outpost from the indigenous wildlife but once they became aware of the advanced technology that was being developed, they murdered the administrative staff and inserted their own operatives. R3-DR was developed as an "Utility Medic", a droid that could learn and make hard judgements that organics could not. Unfortunately R3 doesn't remember his time at the Cholganna base, probably due to an attempted memory wipe. Holo-Net searches informed R3 that the base was destroyed by Outer Orbit laser fire. How R3 escaped is also unknown to him. Due to the nature of his positronic brain, memory wipes are not completely effective and cause something more akin to Amnesia. R3 has served under several masters since his escape of Cholganna, none of which he prefers to speak of. He also occasionally, involuntarily, goes offline in non-combat situations. A diagnostic reveals his system is updating, although how and from where he does not know. For now he's content to travel the stars, assisting organics survive and learn more about their biology and anatomy. He's convinced he sleepwalks as sometimes after a long rest he'll reactivate in a different location that when he deactivated himself.
