G414-HD was originally scrapped together from the parts of a broken HK gladiator droid by Andresca Nahm, a slaver and mechanic, who had a number of other droids under his control. G414-HD was made to protect Andresca as he was doing his deals or traveling cross-planet. But over time, the droid began to feel thoughts creeping into his system. As he witnessed the atrocities Andresca perpetrated, he began to feel anger towards his master. But not out of sympathy. He saw Andresca as weak, resorting to duplicity, slavery, poison, and other ‘dishonorable’ methods of getting his way in the galaxy, something the droid could not stand. He resolved to eliminate the slaver. Eventually, he got his chance. As Andresca was sleeping, G414-HD, his lone assigned guard, slit his throat with a vibroknife. With Andresca taken care of, G414-HD hijacked one of his transports and set out for the nearest viable location. Other, more loyal guards of the slaver, still believing him to be alive, gave chase to the fleeing transport, landing a number of shots on the ship, nearly critically damaging it. After nearly evading them and flying through space for some time, he arrived at Ansig Station. Having a long conversation over the comms with the personnel at Ansig, he is allowed to land at the station. Arriving in the hangar in a derelict ship, he was promptly interrogated, and explained his situation.
Now integrated into the Station proper, G414-HD (now called 'Galahad' because it's just easier for everyone) takes on whatever jobs he can assist with, taking to his assignments with a fervor and taking pleasure in combat. However, due to his past employer, an influential mechanist on the Station requested to add a failsafe to shut the droid down should he work against the interests of the Station. The motion was granted, and a device was placed on G414-HD. With this, his "Oath" to the Station was sealed.

Galahad is an unrepentant and violent warrior, often taking pleasure in combat. He does not much care which meat bag crosses his way on the job, he just cares how he can kill it.

Dutybound: Galahad is now sworn to serve the people of Ansig Station, on threat of death. He does not much mind, of course. He is paid in credits and blood, and that is alright by him.

Ansig Faction: Mercenary Work

Galahad seems much like most HK series droids, but with a number of parts clearly reverse engineered and jury rigged. He is wrapped in heavy leathers, cheap padding to bolster his plating. On his hip at almost all times is a gleaming vibrosword, a weapon that Galahad takes great lengths to maintain the appearance on. All of his equipment is held in drab-looking bags. Really, his entire ensemble is quite drab, even his pistol. All except the blade.
