Background
Senek Klecekla Raplim was a Nautolan child born with defective tendrils, making him unable to detect pheromones and therefore to properly converse and exchange with his brethrens during the first part of his life underwater. Without being able to exchange emotions, Senek grew apathetic, cold, and recluse. Then, bitter and alone, Senek went out of the water as soon as he could to fight in one of the numerous conflics between Aselmi and Nautolan on ground.
There, under the orders of a reliable mentor and forced to cooperate with others to fight and survive, Senek enventually dicovered camaraderie and a sense of belonging. Things that he didn't knew he craved until then. With his newfound will, Senek grew loyal and zealous. And into his squad of "battle brothers", his strong resilience and abnormal strength earned him a front line position as shield bearer, facing danger so that others may not.
A couple years later when a Jedi delegation went to Glee Anselm to stop the conflict. It was then discovered that Senek was force sensitive. He may have been too old to become a Jedi Initiate at the time, but force sensitive people did not run the streets and he had already experienced war. At the dawn of the clone war, the Republic could not let an assets like this pass. Hence following the advices of his mentor, Senek half-heartedly went with the delegation to be trained to become a Jedi of the Republic and -Senek hoped- to find a new familly to fight for.
