Yobo was born to the Zorozi kajidic at the peak of their wealth and power. His Kajidic was notoriously decadent, even by Hutt standards, and made many enemies through their arrogance and obscenity. When Yobo was a baby (only 30 years old), a conspiracy of kajidics led by clan Desilijic toppled the Zorozi. To humiliate the defeated clan and make an example of them, the Zorozi were spared but scattered across the galaxy to serve in menial labor as reminders of their downfall. Yobo was particularly humiliated, being sent far from Hutt Space to be raised by a strict religious order to both punish him personally and symbolize the "correction" of his profligate clan. He has now grown to be a full adult (100), and after learning the harsh teaching of the nuns and bankrupting their abbey with his appetite, Yobo is ushered into the galaxy to redeem himself and his fallen clan.
