Dalrey Mealon hails from Coruscant. Not really having any memory of the time before the New Order and growing up in a middle class family, Dalrey has never experienced the opression of the Empire. As a good imperial citizen, he saw attending the Imperial Academy as the obvious choice when he was old enough. While there, he excelled at fighter piloting and commanding, something that earned him both friends and enemies. One of his classmates, another core worlder from a distingiushed family, did not appreciate being outshone by Dalrey, and thus pulled some strings and called in a few family favors to have Dalrey reassigned.
What followed was called a promotion and a fast-tracking to active duty, but Dalrey soon realized that wasn't the full truth. Leading a squad of criminals on the edfe of the galaxy was not his idea of a promotion.

Military: Dalrey was still a cadet in the Imperial Academy when the recent conflicts flared up. As a member of the military, he of course sees it as his duty to ensure the safety of the people across the Empire.

Space Superiority: 20-10: 10
The galaxy is full of dangers, pirates, criminals, and most of all rebels. In Dalreys eyes, the Imperial Navy is key to ensuring safety and peace across the galaxy. As a fighter pilot he especially sees the emerging threat from the rebel snubfighters as a real danger to both military and civillian ships across the spacelanes.
