Background
Aroleth was born on Devaron to loving parents who would normally have been delighted when he showed force sensitivity at a young age. Unfortunately, he was born a few years after the Galactic Empire wiped out the Jedi and began hunting down anyone who could use the Force.
When inquisitors came to Devaron, Aroleth and his family fled to Hutt Space, hoping to escape the Empire's reach. When one of the Hutt families betrayed them to the inquisitors, they were rescued by a rodian named Meewe Blese who used the Force alone to subdue the attackers.
Meewe, who claimed to be a Jedi, offered to take Aroleth and train him and provided his parents with new identities so that they could go into hiding.
Meewe was not Jedi, but instead a member of the Order of Vetun, a sect exiled from the Jedi centuries ago for heresy. The Order of Vetun believe that the concept of the light and dark side of the force is a fallacy, that the Force is not the moral arbiter that the Jedi and Sith believe it is and that attachment and emotion are essential part of a balanced existence.
Meewe took Aroleth to Nar Shadaa, were the Order of Vetun centers its operations and hides among the bustling world-spanning city. Aroleth received some training in honing his Force abilities, but mostly he learned how to conceal them.
After the Empire fell, Aroleth become curious about what the now extinct Jedi and Sith left behind and began to argue that the Order no longer needed to remain hidden. The Council of the Order of Jetun disagreed.
Whether it was his Devaronian wanderlust or the Force calling him out to learn the secrets of the Jedi, Aroleth needed to leave Nar Shadaa. Meewe tried to convince him to stay, telling him that his training is incomplete. They argued, but Aroleth would not be swayed and was gone the next morning.
Like other members of his Order, Aroleth views the Force in a detached and almost scientific way. He sees it as a means to an end and a tool to be used. He also recognizes how rare in the greater galaxy his abilities are and that revealing them could put him at great risk, regardless of whether or not the Inquisitorius still hunts him.
Motivation
Knowledge. I wish to learn what I can about what the Jedi left behind, in defiance of my order wishes.
Morality
Points: 50
Curiosity: Aroleth is driven to learn new things, to seek out and discover new information and understanding those things that interest him.
Obsession: Sometimes, interest in something can slip into obsession if not tempered with reason. Aroleth can slip into an obsessive state about his nee to discover new information, accomplish a goal, or even defeat a rival, and he may ignore all else until success is his.
