Background

Dessel is a human male born to an Imperial loyalist family on Coruscant. He was identified at an early age as a good student and was put into the Imperial Officer Academy, eventually becoming an Intelligence Agent. Des' was himself a patriot, believing in the greater good of the Empire and its capability to maintain peace/order in the galaxy. He was later identified as force sensitive and placed into the grueling Inquisitor training program. On one of his first assignments as an Inquisitor he was tasked with hunting down and capturing some force sensitive children hiding in the outer rim. Knowing what would happen to these children coupled with his newfound knowledge of the Empire's true nature, Des couldn't bring himself to follow through with his assignment. He let the children escape and fled to Nar Shadaa, where he has taken up with the Hutt cartel for work and protection from the Empire.

Motivation

Dessel's belief in the Empire as an entity working for the greater good has been shaken after learning about the true nature of Emperor Palpatine and Darth Vader. He is now seeking a new cause to become involved in, preferably one that undermines the Empire.

Dessel is not an fan of the Inquisitors, would like to see them dead.

Morality

50 (+10xp)

Justice: The character strives for just and deliberate actions in his life, and in his interactions with others. He attempts to make the objectively right choice every time, knowing that justice is more likely to guarantee positive outcomes than sympathy or other emotional displays.

Obsession: Sometimes, interest in something can turn to obsession if not tempered with reason. The character can slip into an obsessive state about his need to discover information, accomplish a goal, or even defeat a rival, and he may ignore all else until success is his.

Description

An average looking human male, 6ft tall with a thin build and light complexion.

Des tries to dress in inconspicuous attire, he does not want to stand out from the crowd. Typically concealing robes or typical bounty hunter / smuggler attire.
