Background
Baraka is a former fixer for the Hutts, an expert in mechanics, healing, and overall problem solving and conflict resolution for the criminal syndicate. After being apprehended by Imperial forces after a botched job, Baraka managed to escape by breaking his shackles and using his computer hacking skills to override the prison ship's controls and crash land it in the desert. Baraka is now hunted by the empire as an escaped fugitive, and may be sought by the Hutts as well after his former employ learned of his escape from Imperial custody.
Motivation
Freedom. Baraka seeks liberation from both his criminal record and from his servitude to the Hutts, who have treated him quite poorly despite his relatively strong track record of work on their behalf. He aspires towards putting his talents to use in a more constructive manner somewhere else, but isn't yet sure exactly how, as he's never been afforded the opportunity to create his own dreams and goals in the past.
Obligations
Criminal. Baraka is an escaped fugitive hiding out from Imperial forces for a series of crimes committed on behalf of the Hutt crime syndicate, including but not limited to robbery, larceny, fraud, vehicle theft, computer hacking, and, in the act of crash landing a prison ship in order to escape, murder.
Description
Baraka is a reasonably tall and physically fit Klatooinian with rather solemn bulldoggish features. He boasts a couple noticeable facial scars as well as a cybernetic left arm after losing his arm in a freak speeder accident in his youth, and is an expert in cybernetic augmentation. He is ultimately kind-hearted, but has never known a life outside of the Hutt syndicate and as such has a somewhat warped view of the world that he is actively seeking to correct. Chaotic good.
