Background
Lurra Shi began as the daughter of an upper caste member in Echani society. As such, she was trained in hand-to-hand combat, all throughout her life, and with the expectations of a woman to meet the expectations of an Echani leader. While she couldn't fully understand the level of privilege this afforded her, and she was acutely separated from others' "lower" levels of emotional experiences, she did face the demands to not waste these opportunities. These ideas of combat intertwined throughout her life and understanding. Strict procedure and standards of grace mixed with cutting words and sweet things over a roiling urge to fight. Every connection mixed with some aspect of fighting. When Lurra challenged a high level of the Shi family in a disagreement on the Empire, she lost, and was outcast from the family. While her choice as a hired gun would surely have met the quota of fighting to match her family' standards, it was far from enough. For now, she hopes to regain her honor and to find what she needs again.
Motivation
To experience the most emotion, to grow the strongest she can in combat, to regain her honor, and find what it really means to protect others. To find her place in the galaxy, even if it's not what she expected.
Worthiness: Many who walk the warrior path do so in order to live up to the expectations of those around them. Such a Hired Gun may come from
a truly war-like culture, or one where survival of the fittest is greatly admired. Hired Guns might also come from families with a history of military service or combative excellence; they set out to prove themselves worthy of their heritage.
Obligations
To Mom: Family (57-64)
To my friend who helped with medical issue: Favor (65-72)
Bounty (she's been a marauder for long enough to piss someone off) (25-32)
Description
