Background

Sedu was born in Nal Hutta - the moon circulating around Nar Shaddaa. He picked up the art of scum and skulduggery from his friends, along with a crime lord that thought of him as "the strangest son he ever had." Unfortunately, this kind of illegal practice forced him to learn the art of the blaster, shooting away at people for his crime family. He wanted to break free from the bonds of shallow, immoral life, and decided to pinch an entire ship that one of his family members owned, thus marking him for debt and - if he's not careful - a bounty.

The character owes someone a great deal, whether that debt consists of money or something else. Perhaps the PC has a huge gambling debt to a Hutt, is indebted to the Czerka Corporation for his starship, owes a wealthy family for patronage, or has some other serious financial obligation. To make matters worse, depending on who owns the debt, even fully paying it off might not get the character completely off the hook—if the character can get that money, he can surely get more.
