Background

The Accidental Rebel: Only looking to start a new life away from Krayt dragons and regurgitated armor, Zef found himself thrust into more situations where he couldn't stay in the grey of not picking a side. Figuring that the Empire would force him to kill eventually, he decided the Rebels would probably more accepting of his decision to only kill when it is the very last option at the cost of great personal turmoil.

Motivation

Honor. Zef sees the wanton destruction and death the Empire spreads like a disease, and sees it as his duty to help reduce the infection. He has no illusions that this will ever be fully cured or even in his lifetime.

Obligations

Description

Coming from a family of Krayt Dragon "farmers," the only item able to be passed down through the generations is the family armor. Definitely looking the worse for wear each time, but always integrally sound, it is the only thing that is ever found of the previous relative. Some of the family believe the armor is cursed, as it always comes back, like a bad credit chip, with no one knowing what makes the armor so special.

Not wanting to end up a snack (or worse) like his great-grandfather, grandfather, and uncle, Zef took his family inheritance (armor) and set out into the galaxy, billing himself as "more sturdy than your average bothan" and meeting some small success, as such. Zef enjoys taking care of the armor, stitching, repairing, and polishing it whenever there is time to do so, sometimes to the neglect of other duties.

Other Notes

Zef will not kill, even in self-defense, unless there is absolutely no other option and a greater harm will come due to inaction, preferring to subdue and reason with individuals. He does not hold others to this standard, but will interfere in attempts to subdue enemies and save them from death at the hands of colleagues.
