Background

While he was born on Kashyyyk he left at age 7 and doesn’t remember much beyond a longing for tall trees and green plants, mainly with As the Empire sanctioned slavery of the Wookies he and a group of Wookies escaped and traveled to the outer-rim. He grew up on a remote planet surrounded by ancient debris from a space battle hundreds of years prior. 
He was naturally talented at understanding technology and soon became enthralled with the recovery and retrofitting of broken equipment, crafting droids and weapons as well as becoming good at ship repair. In his group was a warrior who taught him the Wookie way of combat, and also a doctor that trained him some on medicinal, herbal and natural healing techniques. 
In their colony was a mixture of species with various backgrounds, and as it grew many became concerned that their way of life would be discovered.

On his 20th birthday their Skys where filled with Zygerrian slave ships. Unbeknown to him they had been betrayed by someone in their camp. 
The ensuing chaos and battle left him injured, branded a slave of the Zygerrian clan, and was transported off planet. During their transport their slave ship was attacked by pirates looking to steal what the slavers had taken. When they were boarded he was taken to the Weequay’s ship. Noting the damage he offered his freedom to fix their ship and become their engineer.

For 4 years he worked as a mechanic, weapons-smith and make-shift doctor for the crew. Finally during a particularly severe battle he earned the right to be free by saving the captains life. Staying for another 2 years he saved up enough funds to leave and strike out on his own.



For over a year has been doing jobs centered out of Tatooine. On one of his jobs a human named Hannibal saved a group of slave Wookies and so Jimbacca gave him a life-debt.

Motivation

Weakness: Fighter: When injured will have difficulty controlling his propensity to start/continue the fight. (perhaps a discipline roll?). Likely to find a fight more than start one, but willing to finish any fight. However not going for fighting to death, more of a feat of strength/power/dominance.

Strengths: Friends/Life Debt: When you are a friend he is loyal to a fault.

Slavery: Hates slavery, not to the point of non-strategic interventions, but always ready to aid in stopping slavery.

Playing Jimbacca. He is basically a Chewbacca clone. He is positive, jovial and energetic. He is much younger than Chewbacca and so is less mature. As for progression I might recommend getting good at mechanics to upgrade gear, craft gear. Consider going into Marauder to increase melee/brawl capability. Consider crafting brawl weapons. Recommend crafting your own tools (see Special Modifications, gear crafting table. 1 Difficulty crafting check, 150cr to get ‘right tools for the job’ for a +1Boost)

Description

32 yo youthful male Wookie. At nearly 8 feet he is tall even for a Wookie. He is very strong but hides it well under his multi-toned short-cut dark brown fur. Clearly dressed as a technician with multiple tools and attachments on his vest, bandolier and belt. Of note is a large knife, a fusion cutter and welding goggles. Burned into his chest is the mark of the Zygerrian slaver that captured and branded him. He is easy to smile, make a joke and has found laughter and humor a good antidote to the current state of slavery in the galaxy, but will not decline a good fight with his massive paws.
