Background

Knight Yin and his team of Republic judicials were a crack team, thirty years before the events of the Clone Wars. One mission, however, while investigating the Candorian Crisis, his ship is damaged and gets stranded. While exploring the planet for supplies, he gets critically wounded. He is able to find a chamber and puts himself on Cryosycle Stasis in the hopes his team finds him.

While his team would come to look for him, they'd find his ship destroyed and no signs of life. With Yin presumed dead, the team disbanded and most had merged into separate squads. Kara, Jin's close friend and the team's Medic, settles down on Alderaan as a result.

Bianka, born and raised on Alderaan, followed in the footsteps of her mother and went to Med School, but had always wanted to see the stars and do something worth remembering. She was particularly fond of Space, particularly one book, her mother's journal, which she had left Bianka before her passing.
Bianka would read about her mother's daring exploits saving the galaxy among a valiant squad, lead by a capable and charismatic Jedi knight, further fueling Bianka's wanderlust to travel and get off this rock.
She had worked hard and excelled in her studies and after finishing her work, joined a small science team to investigate the planet of Candoria. While there, she managed to find cryo-cycle pod, still active and which had been subsisting in low power from the hum of the generators, as everything else had power shut off for the past 24 years.

Thawing him from the pod, she was surprised to discover this was the Jedi Knight from her mothers’ journal, and that someone had survived lost on Candoria. At first, being mistaken for her mother, Bianka explained that the Knight had been asleep for decades, and informs him of the fate of his squad and her mother.
The Jedi is shocked and saddened by this revelation, but then states he must continue his duties. Then suddenly, the Jedi looked to Bianka and offered she go travel with him to the Republic, to join him as his companion and squadmate. Ecstatic, Bianka agrees the two are placed into the 7th Systems Army.
And thus begins Bianka's adventures among the stars.

Adventure Among the Stars

Life on the ground can be pretty boring. Head to the institute, check-in, check-out, go home. Most people do one thing for all of their lives, and for most that is okay. But for some, it drives them crazy. But even rarer are those who are graced by the opportunity to break the monotony. Whether they're swept away by a generous host, given new heights (literally) by their career, or are forced out of their homes by violence and war, to the Adventurer, sometimes they'd rather die anywhere but here.

As a Medic, it is their duty to save lives. Whether it be treating the wounded or taking up arms to against those trying to harm their allies, the Medic does their best to ensure those they need to protect see the light of another day.

Description

PROLOGUE Yin and Kara
- Yin the Jedi leader of elite operatives. Among team was a Medic named Kara
- While on a solo mission, Yin gets stuck on Candoria, his ship is damaged in battle
- Planet is dead, tainted with the Blue Shadow Virus
- Supplies low, he leaves and explores for anything to help
- He’s gets critically wounded deep in the urban ruins
- Last ditch effort, he cryocycle stasis himself in an abandoned medical chamber hoping someone arrives.
- Team finds the broken ship and no Yin in sight. He is presumed dead
- Yin’s team disbands and Kara settles down on Alderaan.

FLASHFORWARD to present Descendant of Kara:
- Bianka born and raised in rural Alderaan
- Excelled in her studies and was a prodigy
- Books were her escape, fantasizing about space and adventure
- Given the journal of her late mother, tells her story of her and the valiant Jedi and their squad's exploits
- With hard work and dedication, Bianka obtains a scholarship to a prestigious Medical Academy
- On a medical mission to research Candoria, her team finds a cryocycle stasis pod
- Inside they find a Jedi, the same Jedi from the stories in that old diary
- The Jedi is told the news they have been asleep for the last few decades, and the fate of his squad and their medic, Bianka's mother.
- The Jedi is saddened at first but then offer Bianka the opportunity to travel with them as they return to the Republic.
- And thus begins Bianka's adventures across the stars.
