Background

Kes was born on Alderaan a few years before the end of the Clone Wars. His father had been a trail guide and outdoorsman and passed that knowledge on to his son at an early age. After he finished his schooling, Kes joined the military, wanting to do his part in keeping Alderaan safe while serving the Empire. He excelled in his years in the stormtrooper legions and was seen as an asset and made a shoretrooper, where he could pass on some of his knowledge of advanced outdoorsmanship. He was given a post to Scariff just before he was allowed leave, returning to Alderaan to visit his parents. When news of the attack on Scariff happened, Kes was recalled and was redirected to a new posting on Mon Cala. Shortly after getting to the water world, the news of the destruction of Alderaan found him. He was devastated at the loss of his parents and his world. Then he heard of the Empire's weapon, the Death Star. He started hearing rumors of Rebel recruiters on Mon Cala, and he went looking. He managed to escape the planet by pretending to be escorting a prisoner and then helping the recruiter hijack a small shuttle and he left with his rifle.

Motivation

Justice. Kes has strived to bring any and all from the Empire to justice after the destruction of his homeworld of Alderaan.

Duties

Combat Victory- He finds he does his duty when he is victorious in battle.

Description

Kes is of an average height, coming in at 1.7m, with sandy brown hair and grey eyes. He still carries his E-22, having modified it to be a bit lighter and adding a sling to keep it out of the way when it wasn't needed.

Kes now sports a set of custom armor, similar in look to the shoretrooper set he used to wear, but in a dark slate grey with the symbol of the Alliance on his right shoulder, the insignia of the 2nd. Regiment on the left, and the Crest of Alderaan etched into the chest piece.
