Background
Kallon was adopted by a Republic sector security agent on Coruscant, James Vale and his wife Reni Januth Vale. His adoptive mother passed away when he was eight. Their father did his best to raise them, but things became especially tough on him when the empire fired him. It seemed he was too loyal to the old ways of the Republic. He had a number of brother's and sister's, all adopted except for one who was taken by the Jedi shortly after her birth. Her name was Nara. The void she left in their adoptive mother and father's hearts is perhaps the reason they adopted so many in the first place. He had a younger brother named Kaith, who joined Imperial sector security to be like their father. His older brother, Nick, started a private investigation practice with their father. Kallon's closest sibling was his youngest sister Nia Vale. She was a Pantoran. He looked out for her, protecting her from the dangerous city.
One day Kallon got a job offer, smuggling illigal cargo for a small time local gang. He found he had a talent for it, and part of him revelled to rebel against the strict structure of the Empire that had fired his adoptive father long ago.
Years past, and eventually while on a job near Corellia he got word from an old friend that his father had passed away, and his younger sister Nia had subsequently joined the emperial army.
He went back to Coruscant to check up on his family. He found his eldest brother had continued the investigatory practice, and his younger brother had continued to work for the empire for some time before moving out with a colony. As for his sister, the empire was less than forthcoming about her records. The more he peered, it seemed the less he knew. The empire seemed to be doing all they could to hide her existance. And so, Kallon would spend the next few years trying to find her, to know her fate.
The battle of Yavin launched the galaxy into a brutal conflict. As a smuggler with a rough upbringing, he would come to be crucial in the transferance of vital cargo. Despite this, he did all he could to stay away from the conflict. After all, for all his hatred of the Empire, he didn't want to end up shooting his sister or his brother.
Eventually he found himself on the world of Daalang III. An anonymous contact had commed him to arange a meeting there. The individual claimed to have information. Upon arrival, Kallon's ship was impounded and quickly disassembled. To what ends, he doesn't know. Stranded on this world, he decided to stay for a while, working odd jobs, and maybe learn a little more about this mystery.
