Background

Cade was born near the end of the CLONE WARS, when the GALACTIC REPUBLIC was reformed into the GALACTIC EMPIRE. Being raised on the core world of CORELLIA, Cade grew up dreaming about becoming a hot shot pilot and flying around the galaxy. In his teens, Cade helped his father and mother at their small market stall where he learned some key tricks in bartering and learned how to become a smooth talker. When he wasn’t at school or helping at the stall, Cade was hanging out with his best friend Dak, who he’s known ever since he started school. Dak was the same age as Cade, but always seemed more mature than Cade, but grew up in a shady household which he would rarely talk about and insisted about Cade not asking questions because he would get into trouble with his parents if he talked about what his parents did. As Cade and Dak started to mature into young men, they would talk at length about how they wanted to leave CORELLIA, and travel the galaxy together, with Cade being the pilot, and Dak being the co-pilot and mechanic. Having no love for the EMPIRE, but realizing that it would be the best way to acquire flight training and credits, the boys both attended a One-Year junior academy, then had further training at the ARKANIS ACADEMY where they graduated at the top of their class and were both sent off to the elite SKYSTRIKE ACADEMY where they learned how to pilot some of the best snub nose fighters the IMPERIAL NAVY had to offer. After graduating from the academy Cade got news of his parents’ deaths in a freak speeder accident. After hearing about this, both Cade and Dak planned to go to CORELLIA in order to have a small funeral for his parents. To do this, the boys had to take a civilian transport from their posting with the BAXEL SECTOR FLEET, which was located in the outer rim, with connecting to both WILD SPACE and HUTT SPACE. On the way back to CORELLIA, their transport (Pegasus) was attacked by pirates who ended up taking both the surviving crew and passengers as prisoners to sell as slaves. Using skills learned by years at many imperial academy’s, Cade, and Dak were able to escape from their cell and rescue the surviving crew and passengers. During the escape, Dak was killed protecting Cade from a stray blaster blot by diving in front of it sacrificing his life, for Cades. Filled with rage, Cade went on a massacre killing every pirate he saw remaining in order to avenge Dak. After the fight was over, Cade realized he had no friends and Family he really cared about left alive, so he asked for a job on the Pegasus, which was quickly granted by the captain. In order to make sure he was never taken prisoner again, Cade started to practice with the Pegasus's security officers, and brought himself a top of the line, BlasTech DL-44 heavy blaster pistol. After a few years of working on the Pegasus, along with the money his parents left him, Cade saved up enough credits to buy a YT-2400 light freighter and become a smuggler, working for whoever paid the most. This is why when he heard about a job in the BOTHAWUI system with potential for a huge pay-off, he jumped on the opportunity.

Motivation

Wanderlust/ Novelty:

Cade's dark desire to get revenge for the death of Dak has slowly started to creep into the background, and has been replaced with his inital wanderlust. Cade started to realize that maybe the best way to avenge Dak is to travel around the galaxy like they both wanted too.

Cade feels like he needs to prove to himself that he is capable of taking care of himself after having Dak sacrifice himself to save Cade's life.

Obligations

Criminal (10): Cade never returned to his posting in the BAXEL SECTOR FLEET, meaning that he would be arrested for abandoning his post, and is seen as a deserter in the eyes of the Empire.

Description

Cade is an average sized human, with black hair, a clean shaven face and light brown eyes. He is 5' 10" tall according to his ID Card and weighs around 175lbs, mostly muscle due to his recent graduation from the IMPERIAL ACADEMY.
