Background
Formerly a padawan of the Devaronian Jedi Shadow Nera Jik, she lost her master when she was 13 years old, during the events surrounding the fall of the Jedi council. In the chaos that followed she was, like many, presumed dead or lost. With no rescue coming, she was forced to survive on her own merit on the streets of Corellia without resources or connections. The vaunted morals of the Jedi held up poorly to such a wretched place, and she resorted to doing whatever had to be done to survive and escape. Some in her former order would say that she has fallen to the dark side, though she chooses to believe that life isn’t as simple as light and dark. Sometimes, evil can serve the purposes of good. Sometimes, a knife in the dark saves an innocent girl from a tragic fate. Sometimes, murder is the right choice. Now she makes her living drifting worlds from the core to the rim, just trying to get by another day without getting a vibroblade in her back.
Motivation
Intelligence - Vaara started off taking small jobs for the Resistance as a way to make some credits. Somehow, those jobs have gotten increasingly more complex over time.
Vengeance - The Empire was responsible for the disappearance of her master (it has to be, that’s the only reason he would leave her, right?) and thus responsible for all the hardships she has faced. Countless other crimes and injustices done to others lay at their feet as well. She will do anything in her power to help tear the Empire down.
