Cloaking Coat
Upgrade the difficulty of all checks to detect an individual wearing a cloaking coat using sensors or electronic forms of detection twice. Droids with an Intellect characteristic lower than the character's ranks in the Computers skill are also affected in the same way when trying to detect the character.
Armored Clothing
These plates are mostly undetectable as long as the clothing is reasonably bulky. An Average () Perception check detects that a person's clothing is plated.
Personal Deflector Shield
Deflector shields use limited ray/particle shielding that deflects and blocks incoming projectiles.
The shield has enough power to last about ten minutes. Recharging a deflector shield requires three hours and electrical facilities.
When the wielder is using a personal deflector shield, the GM can spend any the wielder generates to have the shield run out of power for the remainder of the encounter.

Concealed Escape Kit
A concealed escape kit upgrades the ability of all Mechanics and Skulduggery checks made to escape confinement once. The laser cutter works for a single round before its energy cell burns out, usually just enough time to destroy a mechanical lock or cut a metal bar. The monoknife has the following profile: (Melee; Damage +1; Critical 3; Range [Engaged]; Pierce 1). Characters upgrade the difficulty of checks to detect a concealed escape kit twice.
