Background
Asmodeus has felt the call of the force from a young age, as do many Dathomiri. He, however, has always been an outsider to his fellow brothers, not for lack of physical prowess or raw combat talent, but because he was always feared. Something about his demeanor terrified many of his brothers, to such an extent that he was exiled at a young age and sold into slavery. He soon came into the service of a Jedi survivor who gifted him his freedom and proceeded to raise and train him as his own son. It was with this man that he aquired his traditional tattoos and was taught to harness his latent force abilities that had influenced his childhood. Eventually the combined Force sensitivity of them both caught the attention of the Imperial Inquisitorius, resulting in a conflict that killed his master and left him in near death, missing an arm. Swearing revenge on the Inquisitor that wounded him, he acquired a prosthetic arm and volunteered for the rebellion. Since his service has started, many have reprimanded him for his aggressive and brutal tactics. But to him, he is only returning the favor that he was given.
Motivation
No one truly knows what drives Asmodeus, he keeps that to himself and frowns upon being asked.
