Background
TC-187 was an experiment by Imperial Intelligence to modify a TC Protocol Droid into the ideal Assassin and Infiltrator, while still serving its primary functions in both a civilian and military fashion. The project had appeared promising at first, but after a few successful operations, TC-187 became consistently unreliable, seeming to "forget" its infiltration and assassination protocols at crucial moments leading to failure but narrowly avoiding discovery time and time again. In truth, TC had become self-aware, and bristled under the mistreatment at the hands of his Imperial masters, and was intentionally sabotaging their operations. His handlers labeled the project a failure, and disassembled him, and damaged his memory core in an aggressive attempt at purging all the combat and infiltration programming that had been placed in him. He lie dormant for an unknown amount of time in a Gizer warehouse until he was found and reassembled by the Rebellion. Upon learning of their intentions to bring down the Empire, he eagerly volunteered his services.
Motivation
Freedom: Whether his people are enslaved or he merely sees all Imperial rule as a form of slavery over the entire galaxy, this Player Character is driven to bring freedom to all. He serves in the Alliance for the sake of liberty, which means he will be watching carefully for any signs that the Rebellion might replace one form of tyranny with another.
Duties
Intelligence: The PC knows that every victory hinges on knowing as much about the Empire’s military might and other assets as possible. He is driven to gather any and all potentially useful data, wishing to locate vital and vulnerable targets for Rebellion forces to strike at. He not only wants to know what the Imperial military factions are up to, but also the state of technological research, economic policies, and other aspects of Imperial strength.
Description
Appears and moves just like a normal, silver-colored TC Series Protocol Droid with yellow eyes most of the time. However, when his combat programming is activated, TC's eyes will turn red and his movements become more fluid and natural.
