Talents

Name Rank Book & Page Description
Bad Motivator AoR 143 Once per game session, the character may take a Bad Motivator action to make a Hard Mechanics check. If successful, one device (subject to the GM's approval) spontaneously fails due to the character's involvement, or because it was about to fail anyway and the character noticed it (this ist he character's decision)
Contraption AoR 144 Once per game session, the character can take a Contraption action. With a successful Hard Mechanics check, the character can fashion a device to solve a current problem using the tools and parts on hand. this device must be approved by the GM and functions for the duration of the current encounter only. those tools are destroyed in the process. 1 Triumph may be spent to allow the tools to be recovered to be reused later.
Dedication 1 AoR 145 Each rank permanently increases a single characteristic of the player's choice by one point. This cannot bring a chararacteristic above six.
Redundant Systems AoR 154 Once per game session, the character can take a Redundant Systems action to make an Easy Mechanics check. If successful, the character may harvest components from a functioning device to repair a broken one without breaking the functioning device. this allows the character to repair a broken device without having required spare parts, raw materials, or repair kits (the initial check does not suffer penalties for lacking repair kits, either). This only works, however, if the functioning device is at least the same size and technological level as the device being repaired.
Solid Repairs 3 AoR 156 Whenever the character repairs hull trauma on a starship or vehicle, he repairs one additional hull trauma per rank of Solid Repairs
Enduring 1 AoR 146 Gain +1 soak value per rank of Enduring.
Fine Tuning 2 AoR 147 Whenever the character repairs system strain on a starship or vehicle, he repairs one additional system strain per rank of Fine Tuning.
Gearhead 2 AoR 148 This character removes 1 setback per rank of Gear head from his mechanics checks. In addition, the credit cost to add mods to attachments decreases by 50% (Does not increase with additional ranks)
Natural Tinkerer AoR 153 Once per game session, the character may reroll any one Mechanics Check

Background

Born to serve the Republic, R3-BT works with his fellow droids and members of the GAR's 66th Legion to restore order to the Galactic Republic and defeat the Separatists. "Reboot" is one of the latest of the hordes of droids created straight from Industrial Automation to serve in the Clone Wars

Motivation

Motivation: The Republic

R3-BT lives to serve the Republic and believes in all that it stands for, placing his life to serve and protect those who live under the Republic's rule. He is determined to prevent the collapse of the Republic and eventually bring those in the Separatist Alliance back into the fold.

Duties

Duty: Support (20)

R3-BT lives to serve those in the 66th Legion and assist in whatever duties possible. His main specialization is the upkeep and repair of the Legion's starfighter command, but is capable of deploying in the field for a variety of mechanical tasks.

Description

R3-BT is a small R3-series astromech droid with a clear dome, white base paint, and red trim. His small figure is well suited for work in and around starfighters and his pincers are fine tuned for small and large repairs.

Other Notes

Does not need to eat, sleep, breathe, and is unaffected by vacuum, toxins, and poisons.
