1) How did you discover your force sensitivity? While studying the art of martial prowess, Kyudosei found he had a deeper connection to his Chi than his fellow practitioners. He reacted quicker to stimuli and found he was able to recover easier from strenuous exercise. He didn't make the connection between his supernatural talents and the Force until he encountered a Jedi who was scouting out new Force users for the NJO, who told him that he was able to draw upon the Force and use it to augment his own physical abilities.

2) Describe a moment where you fell prey to your moral weakness or experienced a tragedy/horror that still haunts you.
While in training, Kyudosei was shut off from the outside world. It wasn't until he completed his 10th year of training at the Monastery that he was allowed to communicate with the outside and it was during this time that he found out that his entire family had died in a turf war between two rival Spice gangs. He suffers from survivors guilt because hew feels he could have made a difference and his family would still be alive if he had been there.

3) How did you come to join the NJO?
Kyudosei was recruited into the NJO when a Jedi scout was sent out to his world in the Outer Rim looking for unknown Force sensitives. After many hours of deep conversation with the Jedi, Kyudosei realized that while he knew a lot about himself, he also realized he had a lot more to learn know that he knew about his connection with the Force.

4) Name one NPC your character has a strong connection with. This could be a family member, a friend, a work contact, or a bitter rival.
Ulzi-Ti, is a Kel Doran Jedi who recruited Shin into the NJO. A Scholar-Warrior who challenged Kyudosei and his perceptions on life. They meet regularly to have philosophical debates usually while in friendly duels and training sessions

5) Describe a moment in your life where you demonstrated your moral strength despite adversity.
After graduating from his training at the Monastery, Kyudosei hunted down the the leader of the crime syndicate responsible for the murder of his family. After he had subdued the leader of the Spice gang responsible, he was going to kill the Chadra-Fan to avenge his family but his training at the Monastery instilled in him a discipline to follow the rule of Law. Instead he turned the Chadra-Fan over to the authorities for justice.

To become a Scholar-Warrior who triumphs as much through knowledge as strength of arms.
