Background
Arden was born to a hard working mother in the suburbs of Corellia. From a young age, Arden was taught the importance of education and hard work from his two loving parents: a space faring navigator of a mother, and a low ranking CorSec officer of a father.
Arden grew up in relative ease, working hard in his classes and always training himself. Eventually, his hard work earned him a place amongst far more politically powerful families' children on tract for a medical career. Despite the hard work Arden proceeded to excel for several months, until one fateful night.
After the mysterious disappearance of his father, Arden became obsessed with discovering what had happened to him. As he followed the trail he began to suspect foul play, and ultimately unraveled a cover up from a corrupt Imperial Navy Captain to silence the man rather than face a potential incident. Furious, Arden headed to CorSec to confront them about the information. Hoping to bring formal charges against the commander he was instead placed into custody.
Before he could be formally taken into custody, the officers were incapacitated and Arden was freed. He looked up towards the face of his liberator and was shocked to see his mother before him. It was at that point that she told him a secret that would alter the course of the rest of his life. It had turned out that the man who had raised him was not in fact his biological father, and despite their love for each other she had had him shortly before they had met while traveling the outer rim.
She informed him that her father had in fact been a Mandolorian Commando, and the two had spent several months together before their duty separated them. She told him that Mandalore was no place to raise a son of hers, but that his father had always said he had a place with him should he wish it. She handed him a blade from his father and the clan name that he would inherit, Dresk, and sent him away. The Empire would not allow this action to go unpunished, and so the two bid a tear filled farewell before Arden was sent on a ship to Mandalore.
In the time since his escape, Arden has walked a fine line between his two lives. The skills he had been developing in medical school proved to be a natural fit for the difficult life of a soldier, and the his thirst for knowledge had allowed him to quickly pick up on tactics and stratagem. His estranged father remains distant, but the two have bonded somewhat since his arrival and subsequent training. He has been unable however to get definitive information regarding his mother, and still regrets not knowing for certain if she is safe.
