Background
Similar to 4-LOM, 3-LOM had a glitch in his programming that allowed him to go rogue. However, unlike 4-LOM, he set off on his own to become the best slicer and thief he could. In an effort to accomplish this, he also became an accomplished technician in order to modify himself for whatever job he was working. He now had worked on several big jobs, and had made connections with a few other significant thieves, such as Bink and Tavia Kitik, Zerba Cher'dak, Han Solo, and Lando Calrissian. While not the most highly desired slicer in the Outer Rim, he started to make a name for himself. This ticked off his manufacturers, Industrial Automaton, because they were now seen as being horrible programmers. So they tried to hunt him down and reprogram him to prove that they were not as bad at programming as most people started to think they were. 3-LOM, on the other hand, wanted to keep their reputation terrible so that they would be bankrupted and could not send programmers to track him down. And the way he did that is by achieving the same fame that 4-LOM did. So he worked to be the best thief he could. He did this by working for Saiga, a Bothan politician, to help her recover the Verdant Heart, an artifact that she wanted to display to prove her power to her family. This job took them a long time, but eventually they accomplished it, and got paid handsomely for it. 3-LOM used his cut to pay off his bounty to Industrial Automaton.
3-LOM has worked on many worlds in the past. Some notable ones include: Bothuwai, Coruscant, Corellia, Alderann, Bespin, Nar Shaddaa, Cato Nemoidia, Nal Hutta, Cantonica, Chandrila, Mandalore, Oba Diah, Bespin, Tatooine, and others.
He has worked a few odd jobs for a few different organizations. Some small ones, but he's done a few things on the side for Grakkus the Hutt. For some reason, Grakkus likes 3-LOM. Grakkus set him up as a way to get Industrial Automaton in his pocket. However, 3-LOM hacked Grakkus' system on a separate job, learned it was a setup, and still took Grakkus' job anyway. He hired Crespon Vash, another accomplished slicer, and they worked together to pull the job. They completed it successfully, then returned Grakkus' data, as well as the new data from the job. This earned him Grakkus' respect, and trust. Working together with Crespon, they both kitbashed custom sets of slicer gear, allowing them both to work twice as efficiently.
3-LOM worked more jobs after buying off his debt to Industrial Automaton. He then fully rid himself of his bounty by helping them to recover their lost information when they got raided by a rival company, Cybot Galactica. IA was so grateful to 3-LOM that they removed his bounty entirely, and connected him to several other slicers, as well as giving him a home base in one of their abandoned facilities on Nubia. It was here that he reconnected with Crespon Vash, who told him of his strategy of setting aside blackmail material on everyone he ever worked with, as well as investing credits made from jobs into banks and dead drops. 3-LOM promised to help Crespon if he ever needed it, and the two became great friends. One day, Crespon vanished off the grid however, and then later told 3-LOM that he was working a job for Black Sun, and that he would use 3-LOM as a backup, and send him any blackmail data he acquired. 3-LOM agreed, and a few weeks later, much to his sadness, received a message saying that Crespon had died, leaving behind a lot of blackmail material for 3-LOM, as well as about 53 million in credits in bank accounts and investments. 3-LOM mourned his friend, but took great care to conserve all the information safely, and gain access to all the credits.
Motivation
Expertise: Slicing and Thievery, and using Tech to allow for ease of such tasks
Fame: Being so well known that Industrial Automaton has to leave him alone
Obligations
Obligation: 0
Bounty: Industrial Automaton sees 3-LOM and 4-LOM as failures. But 4-LOM has achieved enough fame they leave him alone. 3-LOM, on the other hand, has a 5,000,000 credit bounty on his head, but not for his capture or termination, but instead for reprogramming him to just being a normal protocol droid. He eventually paid them off himself, and pulled a job to save their information when they were cyberattacked by a rival company, Cybot Galactica.
