-The Down and Out

Avela grew up with her Mirialan mother, Inersa, and Human father, Mitchol. Inersa was an Immigrant who left her life on Mirial by way of human traveler Mitchol. At first their relationship was that of pilot and guest, later on their relationship grew and the two ended up travelling together and started a family when they had their daughter Avela.

Together the three travelled the stars, and Aavela loved star gazing with her mother or exploring the planets with her father. When she was younger her father was offered a job from the Obsidian Maw gang to help them locate some artifacts on a hazardous planet. The job went south quickly and Mitchol ended up with the blame and a huge debt to play back to the gang for the losses the job incurred. When he was unable to pay the debt quick enough the Obsidian Maw killed Avela's mother as a warning.

Now Mitchol is at an older age and with all his previous injuries he's unable to locate anymore relics or make credits fast enough to pay his dept. Avela took up his job to protect him, not wanting to lose her remaining parent.

1. Family
After her father fell onto the wrong side of a gang he worked to try and pay them his debt to protect his daughter but as he aged and it became harder Avela took on the task and now looks for artifacts or relics that would sell for high prices. There's a certain quota she has to make in order to protect her father from the gang and she always tries to make more in order to have extra to send to him for necessities as well as a portion to keep for herself to maintain her ship.
2. Obsession
Growing up among the stars and travelling has instilled a deep need to keep moving and continue exploring what the cosmos has to offer, Avela now struggles staying in one place for too long and needs to keep moving, sometimes her wanderlust distracts her from her main task of locating artifacts and relics to sell.

Avela has a mixed heritage of Human and Mirialan. She has little knowledge of her Mirialan heritage due to her mother dying when she was a child. She has minimal facial tattoos from when she came of age but does not have any that indicate achievements.

She's scatterbrained and can get distracted while out exploring nature but becomes serious when negotiating or selling relics/artifacts in order to obtain the best deal available.
