Kaz had a relatively simple life, born on Coruscant and raised by two loving parents. Ever since he was young, he aspired to become a pilot and explore the galaxy. That opportunity came to him, but at a great cost. There had been an accident at the munitions factory where his father worked and the patriarch of his family was unfortunately killed. The company that owned the factory offered a sizable settlement to Kaz and his mother as a form of repayment for the accident, leaving Kaz with enough funds to purchase a ship for himself and still leave his mother with enough money to retire. He said his goodbyes at the age of 16 and took off into the stars. He has honed his skills as a pilot for quite some time, even making a name for himself as a smuggler. Eventually though, he was caught by authorities and almost imprisoned. Instead, he was given the opportunity to work for the faction. With little to no other choice, he accepted.
