Background

Born about 15 years prior to the start of the Clone Wars, Ravvil had a good upbringing on Coruscant. Studying Engineering at the Coruscant School of Science, Ravvil had not only a happy childhood, but a top notch degree in Engineering and Science.

He got a teaching job at a high school level, teaching chop shop and engineering, with a big touch of droid construction.

Wanting to make a difference in his life, he joined in with the Home Guard - a part time civil service that assisted the military and law enforcement whenever needed. Here he earned the nickname “The Wall”, as he found particular satisfaction in carrying a large riot shield, a shield he later bought and still uses when needed.
In the Home Guard, Ravvil helped in the capture of criminals and putting down demonstrations - all in the name of the Empire.
He helped there for a few years, while the Empire was settling in, as while the Empire settles, harsher military restrictions were imposed, and the Home Guard ultimately dissolved.

Ravvil found other things to preoccupy him, starting up his own mechanics and engineering business on the side of his teaching job, where he was getting less hours and no new classes to teach, as the Empire began moving to all Human and Droid teachers.

At around 4 BBY, the Daal City politician Rennom Borac was on Coruscant to get funding for a project. Wanting an extra pair of eyes, he entered Ravvil’s shop, and showed his ideas for construction work, Ravvil ended up being temporarily hired as a supervisor on Daalang III, working with the labour droids in the construction of several new apartment blocks.

His own business booming, Ravvil ended up marrying his lovely wife, Lena Yiktol (now Lena Dittol), and having two children - Mayana and Nictae, børn 6 and 2 BBY.

Around the time of 0ABY, the Coryscant government hands Ravvil a notice, shutting down his business, and preparing him to be sent to a labour camp to work on a huge project, unless he could show gainful employ.
It was in this situation he sent a message to Rennom Borac, who hired Ravvil on the spot for supervising construction work on Daalang III, Daal City, and in Rennom’s own district.

Motivation

To make an honest living and support his family.

Ravvil has seen what the Empire can do to aliens, and just wants to stay under the radar, using his skills and crafts to support his family through honest hard work.
He has no interest in dealing with the criminal underworld, not any interest in fighting for or against the Empire or the Rebellion. He just wants to live life in peace.

Obligations

5 - Family. Ravvil has his family - wife and two children - living with him in Daal City.
He works tirelessly to give them the same chance as he had in life, from education to entertainment.

5 - Favor. With the oppression coming to Coruscant under the Empire, Ravvil lost his business and was on the alien list to lose his life savings and his freedom to the work camps, when a politician, Rennom Borac (whom Ravvil had done some engineering work for) in Daal City had offered him a job. Being employed within the government meant the Empire did not touch his savings nor send him off to work camp, and Ravvil took his family to Daal City, to work under Rennom.

Description

A Besalisk in the early stages of middle-age, Ravvil stands about 1.95 meters, with grayish skin and brown hair.
He is usually met wearing civvies, ordinary clothing of no particular breed.

When in his combat mode, he can be found in his Padded Armor, wearing a Riot Shield and wielding either his Vibro Rapier or his Stun Baton
