Background

Times are hard when living as a Hunter. Especially in the vastness of space. Between following marks from planet to planet day after day, decade after decade, and the isolation that comes with being a solitary hunter, Jov had to be tough. He had to be in order to survive. But he also had to be smart. He had to adapt. The marks would adapt to the methods of the hunt. They would know the places of danger and avoid them. they would recognize the signs of the hunter. So in turn Jov had to adapt his methods. Where as many Klatoonians learned to "adapt by just being faster or stronger to outrun or over power the mark, Jov thought it would be better to outthink them.
He studied their movement patterns and their eating habits and body language. Studied and watched and it payed off. once he understood his prey on the level that he did, it was easy to get track them down when he needed. That is until the empire came. He didn initially understand why they came, but he understood what it meant for him when they started mindlessly flooding the market with other hunters. With competition. the marks that sustained him were harder and harder to get assigned to. So he studied them. And after singlehandedly bringing in 15 escaped debtors for his local Hutt lord, he caught the notice of a group calling themselves "Rebellion". They claimed to have a need for this Empire to be gone, much like he did. He knew from his watching that until this threat was stopped at its source, that it would return. And The Empire was not good for his lord, Truppo the Hutt.
So he set off with this group of Rebels and learned everything he could about the empire, which in turn helped these them stop the Empire more and more and get him closer and closer to getting a steady stream of marks once again.

Motivation

Always get paid. The Hutts always get whats due them one way or another and what is due him is due them.

Obligations

Contract: 5 : contracted to Truppo the Hutt since birth, when he was given as tribute by his family. Contract stipulates he can only fulfill bounties approved by Truppo and the money given as reward goes to the hutt caln for the growth and glory of the Hutt clan.
