Background

Vrik came to this part of the galaxy as a technical officer on loan to the Imperial Military from the Chiss Expeditionary Forces. He spent several years working on improving Imperial armor and weapons, but eventually seeing the way they were being used began to change him. Vrik felt guilt, and eventually decided to abandon his post. He spent a year or two on the run working for small time warlords on backwater worlds. Eventually Vrik heard about the rebellion against the empire. He decided to try and join to help right the wrongs he enabled the Empire to carry out against the galaxy.

Motivation

Redemption: The PC seeks to atone for past sins or mistake by serving in the Alliance. He may have served in the Empire. Helping the Rebellion may be a way to regain his self-worth.
