Frovge has lived his life not often leaving his homeworld of Kashyyyk. He settled down, got married, and took care of livestock. When the empire took over the planet and enslaved the Wookiees, he didn't fight back.
This lasted until a few months before the Battle of Yavin, when the rebels did a strike to free some Wookiees. During the strike, Frovge urged his wife and kids to stay inside, and no provoke anyone. During the strike, a group of imperials walked into their home, and without provocation, began killing everyone inside. As this was happening, Frovge was panicking. He pleaded for them to stop, tried to pull the guns from their hands, but they wouldn’t stop. This is until the rebels entered his home and took down the imperials. But it was too late, Frovge, though heavily wounded, was the last one left alive. The rebellion took him off the planet, and from that point on, he swore his life debt to the Rebel cause, and swore an oath of vengeance against the Empire, and any who swore allegiance to it.
